In the most Southern part of Bulgaria, in the skirts of Eastern Rodopi mountain, on the banks of Varbitza river, is situated Zlatograd, the most ancient historical center of Smolyan region.
This is the town of Delio Hajdutin – the guardian of the local population from the violent ottomans, immortalized in a song which “travels” across the universe towards other civilizations.
Descendents of these brave fighters for national freedom are the Dumbovs – Rossitza and Fiodor – the founders of the first, family-run hotel in Zlatograd in 1993. They make every guest feel at home by relying on the traditional values and culture.
After years of professional experience, the family decided in 2004 to renovate and modernize their hotel in line with the European standards – the number of guest rooms was increased, rooms were refurbished providing a complete equipment and all required comforts like cable TV, mini bar, safety deposit box, direct dial telephone, internet access and bathroom.
The hotel has also a parking lot for the guests and offers city tours with its own transportation.
